Sanctioned addiction?

I don't know if you read the post preceding this one, but in it I rambled on and on about how badly my wisdom teeth hurt and something about medicine. Anyway I spoke to my dentist since there will be some time between now and when I actually get the teeth removed, as I kind of wondered how long I would be on painkillers. The answer came to about two weeks, and that conversation was around a month ago, since my insurance stopped covering wisdom tooth extractions at the end of October. So I've been on hydrocodone for over a month now without even thinking about it. I figured I'd write about it here and see if I get any withdrawal effects in the next few weeks since I didn't renew my prescription. I never even felt that good while using it, but I did have to take two pills at a time after a week or so due to my tolerance increasing. I've dealt with addiction before, so if I have to again then I have to, and I'll take care of it with willpower, like last time (look at the book beneath the post!).

I'm off to look up ways to stop withdrawal symptoms, I'll see you guys later.

Blah Blah Blah

I don't know about anyone else, but I tend to write a lot since I take so many meds that alter my perception. I usually look through my folder full of rambling later when sober and try to read the stuff, usually without much success. Most of the time it's just quick things, like "The key to saving the world is hidden within baby sharks, find some to unlock it" but other times it'll be entire short stories, ingredient lists for unknown foods, and of course the ever present incoherent rambling. To show you that I'm not making this stuff up, here's a screenshot of a part of my ramblings folder:

Look at those pretentious titles! Anyhow, I'll be posting some of them soon enough, I guess.

Maybe the key to saving the world is baby sharks, those things eat each other.
